Sage makes it easy for customers to run their business more efficiently. Anyone on the cloud version benefits from ongoing development of core functionality and improved cloud connections to Office 365 and the Sage ecosystem, but don’t be fooled by the word 'cloud' in the name, this is still the same desktop Sage installed on your local computer, the cloud functionality is an added feature.
"Sage 50cloud is future proof!"
From 1 April, MTD will begin to be enforced and a large number of businesses will move to digital submissions and must keep records of digital transactions. Sage have added functionality and improvements to Sage 50cloud Accounts v25.1 to make MTD even easier for customers.
What's new in v25.1?
Attach documents to the VAT return MTD feature - Keep a full audit trail of all transactions to support with MTD readiness, including calculations carried out in excel, or instructions from an accountant Attach documents to Journals MTD feature - Keep a full audit trail by attaching documents to journals Access VAT return with users logged in - No downtime in the office when calculating and submitting the VAT return a process which all businesses impacted by MTD will have to carry out from April 1st Track bank rec changes - Bank rec corrections are made quicker and easier by the software automatically highlighting transactions causing changes to the last reconciled balance
