Bokio Is Starting To Charge For Its Bookkeeping Software | But there's still a free version ... |
Posted by Alison Mead on 13/12/2021 @ 8:00AM Bokio is starting to charge for their bookkeeping package. You know when things are free it really is too good to be true, so I did expect them to charge at some point ... Bokio is starting to charge for its bookkeeping software, but there's still a free version! copyright: bokio They did make a commitment to remain free in some form though, and true to their word you will still be able to use a basic version of the package for free, but for a better experience, there will be monthly charges involved.
This will allow them to develop the product further and perhaps offer a viable alternative to Xero, Sage and Quickbooks for a small business accounting solution!
Bokio is an entry level bookkeeping package I have recommended to clients who have no budget to pay for their bookkeeping, but need to at the very least send professional looking invoices and track when they have been paid.
This is always harder to manage with Excel spreadsheets and Word documents. It is so easy to make mistakes with calculations or lose track of what you are owed.
To see the new pricing plans for Bokio then click on this link, and I would still recommend you use the free software for the reasons stated above.
I have not had the chance to review the paid-for versions yet so watch this space. Until next time ...
