Sage has just released their latest version with some good updates in my opinion. The two biggest changes made are to bank feeds, including improvements to bank rules and a streamlined bank feed approval process, and a second company is available for data restoration only ...
If you want to upgrade to Sage 50 Accounts v30.1 when it becomes available to you, just let me know!
This one is my personal favourite: If you have ever made a mess of your bookkeeping in Sage and you may want to restore an older backup, perhaps from before your year-end, to check something without messing up your current data, this is now going to be possible.
Here's a summary of the main updates:
Bank feeds manual file import
Automatic retention of Bank feeds rules
Practice with your own company data
Managing cloud-connected data
Disconnect all cloud services
Sage Network enhancements
And, of course, there are many bug fixes to go with the updates.
I will be taking the accreditation course and exam as soon as it is released so I can keep you updated on how to use the new features. Sage will be rolling out the update to subscribers gradually.
If you want to upgrade to Sage 50 Accounts v30.1 when it becomes available to you, just let me know when you can upgrade and I'll show you around and help get the new version installed for you and all your data imported into it.
Until next time ...
