Sage 50 Accounts v29.2 is more than just an update; it's a testament to Sage's commitment to delivering top-notch accounting solutions!
With the release of Sage 50 Accounts v29.2, users are in for a treat with a plethora of new features and improvements designed to streamline operations and enhance user experience. At the heart of this update are several notable enhancements:
Bank Feeds UI Enhancements: The bank feeds process has undergone a significant overhaul. Users will now find a dedicated ledger for managing connections to bank accounts, making the entire process more intuitive.
New Onboarding Experience for Bank Feeds: Connecting to an online bank has never been easier. Once onboarded, the bank feeds process is neatly organized into three tabs, guiding users from downloading their feed to confirming transactions and finally to the reconciliation screen.
Auto-matched Transactions: This feature automatically scans bank transactions to find likely matches in the audit trail, saving users valuable time.
Create a Purchase Order from a Sale Order (Professional only): A new "Generate PO", button allows users to swiftly create Purchase Orders from Sales Orders, streamlining the order management process.
Invoice Finance Enhancements (UK Only): Building on the version 29.0 release, the 29.2 update brings automatic posting of transactions related to invoice funding back into Sage 50 Accounts. This feature now supports both Single Invoice Finance and Full Invoice Finance.
Credit Control and Risk Insights (Finance package only): In partnership with Satago, users can automate invoice payment reminders and gain insights into customers' credit scores, risk bands, and suggested credit limits.
Help Portal Enhancements: Users can now download chat transcripts from the help portal, ensuring they have a record of their interactions.
Installation Streamlining and Help: The installation process has been refined, guiding users with recommended actions and enabling a smoother installation experience.
Sage for Accountants Integration (Client Manager only): Accountants can now launch Sage 50 Accounts directly from their cloud-native Sage for Accountants solution, offering a unified client management experience.
